The NCCR Bio-Inspired Materials funded several other projects that fell outside the scope of one of the topical Modules but were aligned with the overall research goals of the Center.
The NCCR Collaborative Projects were an initiative of the NCCR Bio-Inspired Materials in Phase 2 (2018-2022) to foster collaborative work across Modules. Three such projects were launched in 2020 after a competitive call for proposals involving international experts' external evaluation.
The Women in Science (WINS) Projects are led by the recipients of the WINS Research Fellowships, which are awarded by the NCCR Bio-Inspired Materials once per year. The projects below have been completed.
